Laurie Alsobrook will lead you through FIVE sequential lessons to begin your journey of learning how to play the mountain dulcimer, including a Jamming 101 workshop – Jam Jump Start.
– Strum Camp (Get comfortable with your strum)
– Lefty Loosey (Get your left hand ready to move!)
– Chord Camp (Use a few basic chords to fill out your melody)
– Crazy About Capos (Add beautiful changes using a capo)

This is a separate $70 payment for the dulcimer, paid directly to Laurie; it’s not included in weekend registration.
What if I’m a beginner and have my own instrument? These beginning level workshops are for you as well! You will work on finding your way around the fretboard in a fun and engaging way. You’ll learn tunes and get comfortable with strumming and fretting. With FIVE 90-minute classes, you will get a great head start on your dulcimer journey!
